Accommodation

We have organised affordable single rooms plus breakfast at University of Melbourne colleges. There are very limited double rooms. Full payment is required before we can secure your room. Availability is limited so book and pay early.

Breakfast is included from 4th Jan.

There is no en suite toilet. There is a simple kitchen with toaster and microwave. There is a coin operated laundry.

You will be required to provide a $200 bond when you arrive. This can be cash or a credit card.

Accommodation bookings must be made before 30th September 2015. No guarantee can be made regarding securing accommodation after this date.

There are no family or twin rooms available.

The following packages are available on a pay first basis. Please note that availability is very limited for packages starting on the 1st Jan, so you must call Elizabeth, the tournament organiser, to see if there are any spaces left (see contacts page).

Note that some games may clash with the diner and lunch options. For the diner and lunch options it is all or nothing. Don’t forget that there is great cuisine in Melbourne.

No refunds

There are no refunds. If you can organise somebody else to take your place then this is fine.

Where are the colleges

About 20 minutes walk from the Fitzroy Town Hall, 10 minutes to the city, and 5 minutes to Lygon Street, Melbourne University is ideally located. The 200 bus travels along  Johnston Street from Lygon Street, while 11 tram runs along Brunswick Street to and from the city.
